Weinstock and Wurthman.
Black and white photos
Capturing youth's eternal hope.
Looking
outwardly
Ready to begin their journeys!
They smile, and we wonder
If those departed classmates of
63,
Lived out the dreams
We shared back then.
It's the memories of
Their smiles and tears,
Their aspirations and hush-hush secrets
That are left to us.
And it's because they touched us
So many decades past. Colors were added to the palates of our lives
And memories of our youth are
richer.
