I am looking forward to a great visit with all of you.  Thanks to Jim for his investigations - are you sure you weren't with the FBI after graduation?!  My mother, who is approaching 90, still lives in the house on Orchard Avenue so I get to Albany about once a year.
As a teacher, I get those LONG summer vacations, but then most of the year is spent being a jack of all trades - curriculum developer, event organizer, interior decorator, counsellor, "mommy" to 65+ 5th graders, an editor, chief of discipline, after school tutoring service, and when there is time...I teach.  I graduated with a BA in Elem. Ed. and a minor in German; have a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction; taught in Long Island City, Queens, suburban Chicago, Hong Kong, and am now in Miami.  I am aiming to retire in five years and then live the "good life" in warm weather.
My two children, Mike and Katy, were born in Oak Park, Ill. and when they were in elementary school, we moved to Hong Kong for the next 11 years.  Both are married and I have one 21 month old granddaughter, Madeleine.  She and her parents live in Kenner, LA (suburban New Orleans), and my daughter and husband live in Melbourne, FL.
